Stainless Steel Angles And Their Characteristic Features

Our Stainless Steel Angle Sections are available in Grade 304 and 316.

Grade 304 is a general, commercial stainless steel and is the most versatile and widely applied of all stainless steels. It’s an all-rounder, with fairly easy machining and forming capabilities and outstanding welding characteristics. Additionally, Grade 304 has good corrosion resistance properties making it an ideal section for various applications particularly architectural jobs.

Grade 316 is famous for its weldability, excellent corrosion resistance and general toughness. The alloy is useful for numerous metalwork projects particularly on external or coastal applications and where welding is required. Machining of Grade 316 is a bit harder than welding, but can be done successfully with the correct tooling.
